The process of verifying an ID digitally is simpler than you may think, and can be done via a webpage or app. In most cases, the applicant will be required to upload a photo of themselves (a liveness check), an Identity Document (e.g. passport), and proof of address. During the process, there are clear instructions on how their selfie and documents need to be presented, meaning they spend less time trying to work out how to do it.
