  • Monitor your DBS application as it progresses through each stage.

Make sure that you are always kept in the loop!

The inbuilt DBS tracking service is a great way to keep an eye on all your DBS application forms, so you know what is going on. Once the DBS have received the application, our system constantly connects to the DBS service and lets you know every time the stage or status of an application changes.

Email updates

Our system sends you email updates and notifications and even allows you to see the result (if the certificate is clear) online. Although we give you this information to help you, you will still also need to see the applicant's original certificate. The DBS tracker allows you to track multiple forms at once which saves time.

The benefits of using the DBS tracking service:

  • Keeps you informed about what's going on
  • Provide you with peace of mind
  • Allows you to keep your boss updated
  • Allows you to keep your applicants updated
  • Lets you know when the certificate has been dispatched.
  • Less stress

Stage 2: The Police National Computer (PNC) is searched

The application form's data is compared against details held on the Police National Computer, identifying possible matches.

Stage 3: Where applicable, the Children's and Adults’ barred lists are searched

Key data from the application form is compared against barred lists to search for any matches.

Stage 4: Search of records, held by the police

Enhanced checks are sent by secure, electronic means to the police for an additional check of their records.
