Can I Download My DBS Certificate Online?
Yes, you can download our DBS check certificate – but only if it’s a Basic check certificate. Standard and Enhanced customers can only see a summary of the information on the certificate, showing whether it is clear or not.
Once your DBS certificate has been issued, you’ll receive an email from the DBS with a link to the online portal where you can download your certificate.
You’ll need to create an account on the government portal if you haven’t already done so.
Once you’re logged in, you should be able to see your certificate and download it as a PDF file.

Employers cannot view or download their employee’s certificates online, nor can the Umbrella Body that has processed the application – only the individual whose check it can action this.
